My daughter's garden in Basingstoke

I am very proud of Jacquie and the work she has done in her tiny garden. Much of it is covered in concrete and she didn't want to lose her lawn. So she made a container garden, completely organic and with quite a huge variety. This blog is the record of the garden. I hope you enjoy it.

We enjoyed it. Here is the potjie with the vegetables almost ready to eat.

Wow, that is so cool!!

I wish we had a bit of space. We tried on the balcony on the old building, but had trouble with it drying out because it was in the sun all day.

Also stuff from balconies above end up in the plants... cigarette butts and worse.

Love the English type gardens with almost no space and yet jammed with food. Then you see some over here that are huge and are just lawn. (that you can't do anything on because of the fertilizers and pesticides)
