My daughter's garden in Basingstoke

I am very proud of Jacquie and the work she has done in her tiny garden. Much of it is covered in concrete and she didn't want to lose her lawn. So she made a container garden, completely organic and with quite a huge variety. This blog is the record of the garden. I hope you enjoy it.

We enjoyed it. Here is the potjie with the vegetables almost ready to eat.

A few close ups

Even Dandelions can be things of beauty - see the bug.

And the flowers look pretty good

Flowers on the wall
And in hanging baskets

And that is a Japanese Maple Tree in a pot

It is amazing the beauty in a combined vegetable and flower garden

Growth whilst away

The growth has been quite amazing in the past month

All sorts almost ready for the pot.

Potatoes in pots. We have had quite a feast of various varieties.

After a month away!

The Runner Beans - planted in a square of canes and not a slug in site. Could the Sunflower and Marigolds by the beans also help?
